Ginisang Upo

This is my entry this week "ginisang upo" bottle gourd, my Lil girl said baseball bat mom lol my silly girl, she think baseball bat, and glad hubby like it he ate with rice yeah you heard me right hubby ate anything except sinigang or sour taste, but of course he need to taste first then he said its good lol so here it is let eat with rice with this ginisang upo... and for more foods visit food trip Friday..

FTF-Pancit bihon and home made Roll

Last week am craving with pansit bihon, and i don't have much vegetable on my fridge so i went to my small garden to find something that i can use on my pancit bihon, and i got snow peas that's the i only i got because my cabbage its not ready yet, too late to go to the store and hubby is sleeping already and 9 o clock pm that time lol, I'm so craving for pancit so i don't mind what time is it, hahaha so i make experiment not really experiment. i used what i have on my fridge, and we didn't go yet for groceries so i don't have any vegetable on the fridge except carrots. so here it is, lets it with rice. i make also home made roll. this is my entry this week i almost forgot our meme's again, if you want more food delicious just click the badge above thanks for visit...

Broil Steak

This is my favorite steak on some american food lol actually i ate a little if i didn't really know what kind of food haha im so (pihikan) for food that's why looks me skinny, but anyway good for me lol last weekend i made this steak but instead i grilled outside i bake i put a broil and turns good hubby like it, before didn't really used to eat potato the way they cook here like mashed potato am not really fan for that he he but am trying maybe i didn't adopt yet the culture and food i prefer filipino food still of course we all know Filipino is always craving to all filipino foods so this is my entry this week and have a good weekend in advance everyone for more food trip just click the badge to visit Food trip Friday and share yours too...

Cinnamon Rolls

This is my first cinnamon that i make ever lol, I know most of us don't know how to cook with all of this but finally i make it hubby favorite

INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk (heated approximately 1 minute in microwave)
1/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F.)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
2 eggs, room temperature and beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
5 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten (optional)*
3 teaspoons instant active dry yeast

CINNAMON FILLING:
1/2 cup butter, melted or softened
1 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
4 to 5 tablespoons ground cinnamon
3/4 to 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Soften the butter; set aside. In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon;

BUTTER FROSTING:
2 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup powdered (confectioners) sugar
1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon lemon extract or oil (optional)

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar,
vanilla extract, and lemon extract or oil until well mixed and creamy. Refrigerate frosting until
ready to use and then bring to room temperature before spreading.

Brush the 1/2 cup softened butter (listed below in the Cinnamon Filling) over the top of the
dough with a rubber spatula or a pastry brush. Sprinkle Cinnamon Filling over the butter on
he prepared dough. Starting with long edge, roll up dough; pinch seams to seal. NOTE:
Rolling the log too tightly will result in cinnamon rolls whose centers pop up above the rest of
them as they bake.

Actually its not really perfect how i do but maybe next time

here its goes now ...

Bread machine: this is what I use
Add all the ingredients, except the Cinnamon Filling and the Butter Frosting, in the bread pan of
bread machine. Process according to manufacturer's instructions for a dough setting. When
the bread machine has completed the dough cycle, remove dough from pan and turn out onto
a lightly oiled surface. (I use a nonstick cooking spray). Form dough into an oval, cover with a
plastic wrap and let rest for 10 minutes.

After dough has rested, roll and stretch the dough into approximately a 15 x 24-inch rectangle.

Sinigang na Bangus (milk Fish)

yipey finally i can post new in my food blogs he he here it is my milk fish sinigang with okra and string beans, this string bean its come from to my garden my aunt told me to i make half cooked half then i put on the freezer , i was here for 2 years and can't find this milk fish (bangus) on the other asian store so since we need to go get some rice ask hubby if there is another Asian store so finally found this am so craving with sinigang but hubby don't like it, he like better a fried fish, he can eat beef or pork sinigang but this one he he but anyway its OK i can eat it hmm yummy, you want some..

Marinated Milk Fish
